Riverside: Group Protest To Reopen Before County Meeting

05.05.2020 | 9:00 AM | RIVERSIDE – A group of peaceful protestors rallied in support of reopening businesses before a county board of supervisors meeting, Tuesday morning.

The group of about 200 protesters wearing patriotic apparel and bearing signs demanding the reopening of the state rallied outside the Riverside County Administration Building located in the 4000 block of Lemon Street around 9:00 AM.

The protest was ahead of a board of supervisors meeting that was scheduled to pass a resolution to lift orders that directed local schools and businesses to close.

No arrests or violence was reported and the protest was peaceful in nature.
