Riverside: Gas Station Employee Assaulted By Armed Man

11.12.2019 | 4:30 AM | RIVERSIDE – An Arco Gas Station employee was hospitalized after being attacked by a man armed with a razor blade, early Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of an assault in progress at the Arco Gas Station located near the intersection of Alessandro Boulevard and Old 215 Frontage Road around 4:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a gas station clerk suffering from multiple injuries and bleeding from the head.

A suspect was also located and taken into custody at the scene.

Firefighter paramedics treated both men on scene before transporting them to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the assault remain under investigation.
