Riverside: Driver Dead After Crash Into RV

08.05.2020 | 11:20 PM | RIVERSIDE – The driver of a sedan that crashed into an RV was killed, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision on the southbound I-215 Freeway near University Avenue around 11:20 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a dark blue 2015 Nissan Altima that had collided with a 1979 Swinger RV.

The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased on scene by firefighter paramedics.

A male and female inside the RV were uninjured by the crash.

Several lanes were closed causing congestion for hours while officers investigated the cause of the crash.
