Riverside: Dog Rescued From Roof Of House

DETAILS:
- Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported dog stuck on a house’s roof.
- When the engine arrived they found two women who are neighbors to the house where the dog lived that lead them to the house where there was a dog stuck on the roof.
- According to the woman, they walked outside and heard a dog barking and noticed it walking nervously o the roof of the house, they went and knocked on the door but no one was home so they called 911.
- After about 20 minutes, firefighters were able to get the dog back into the house using dog treats.
- The dog is safe back in the home but no one had contact info for the owners or knew when they would be returning.
- The dog was not injured and according to a neighbor they believe it is a German Shorthaired Pointer hunting dog but they were not 100% sure.
