Riverside County: 7-Eleven Clerk Found Murdered During Series of Armed Robberies
02.28.2020 | 1:45 AM | RIVERSIDE COUNTY – A clerk was found murdered inside one of three different 7-Eleven convenience stores that were robbed by armed men, early Friday morning.
The clerk was found dead inside a 7-Eleven located in the 6600 block of Indiana Boulevard in Riverside around 3:20 AM.
Authorities believe the store was the third in an armed robbery spree spanning several hours.
The first robbery was reported at a 7-Eleven located in the 500 block of East 4th Street in Perris around 1:45 AM.
The second robbery was reported at the 7-Eleven located in the 23000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley around 2:15 AM.
In all three robberies the victims described two black adult males who entered the stores wearing dark clothing and brandished a handgun before fleeing with cash.
Detectives are on scene working to investigate the robberies and resulting murder.
