Ridgecrest: Major Earthquakes Cause Serious Damage

07.05.2019 | 8:19 PM | RIDGECREST – A 7.1 magnitude earthquake that followed a 6.4 magnitude temblor only a day damaged roads and buildings, Friday night.

Video from Ridgecrest, California, located several miles outside of the quake’s epicenter, shows downed shelves, cracked roads, and numerous items tossed inside and outside of buildings.

At least one hospital had to be evacuated as a result of the earthquake’s and subsequent aftershocks.

No serious injuries or deaths were immediately reported and first responders were working tirelessly to ensure the safety of the affected communities.
