RICHMOND Fatal Shooting, HOUSTON, TX

DETAILS:
- Officers with the West Side Patrol Division responded to a shooting call.

Upon arrival, officers observed a large crowd in the area.

Witnesses reported there had been an altercation during a party, followed by people scattering and gunfire being heard.

One male, approximately 31 years old, sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Houston Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

A firearm was recovered from the scene.

The shooting occurred in a foyer-type area outside of apartment two, near but not in the main parking lot.

Several individuals have been detained for questioning.
