Reseda: Marine Barricades Himself Inside Home

08.27.2019 | 10:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – A SWAT team was on scene attempting to convince an armed man to surrender after shots rang out, late Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of shots fire in the 18900 block of Cantara Street in the Reseda area around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered a 40-year-old male identified as a retired Marine barricaded inside his home with a firearm.

The man reportedly threatened suicide by cop, prompting an hours long standoff.
