Reseda: Man Shot Near Park

09.25.2019 | 11:15 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was gunned down in a local park, late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the Newcastle park located in the 6500 block of Newcastle in the Reseda area around 11:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim down suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Several individuals were detained at the scene of the shooting but it was unclear if they were related to the crime.

An investigation is ongoing.
