Reseda: Man Dies After Being Injured During House Fire

07.07.2020 | 6:53 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man died after being injuring during a house fire, Tuesday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire in the 7700 block of Aura Avenue in the Reseda area around 6:53 PM.

Units arriving on scene learned that a victim was trapped inside the home along with two dogs.

Firefighters immediately entered the home and rescued the man and both dogs while working to extinguish the fire.

Paramedics treated the man, who was in his 60s, while rushing him to Northridge Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Both dogs rescued from the home were safe and seen being given water by firefighters.

The fire was extinguished in about 14 minutes.

Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fatal fire.
