Rescue of Man in The Sweetwater River Ravine | Spring Valley
08.10.2022 | 1:52 PM | SPRING VALLEY – A man was walking along the edge of the ravine when he slipped and fell into the ravine.
He was trapped by water on one side and the steep inclines of the ravine.
He used a cell phone to call 911.
Firefighters were able to find him due to them “pinging” his phone.
A firefighter and a rope were sent down to the victim, and the other firefighters pulled him to the top.
From there, he was walked out to Quarry rd, where an ambulance took him to be checked out at a local hospital.
