Redondo Beach: Domestic Violence Suspect Shot By Police

01.08.2019 | 9:15 PM | REDONDO BEACH – An armed domestic violence suspect was wounded after an officer-involved shooting, Tuesday night.

Police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Esplanade around 9:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene were confronted by a man armed with a firearm and subsequently an officer-involved shooting occurred.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the scene and treated the suspect before transporting him to an area hospital.

Officers secured the scene while deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department responded to investigate the shooting.
