Redlands: Sleepy Big Rig Driver Rear Ends Another Big Rig

04.10.2019 | 2:46 AM | REDLANDS – A sleepy big rig driver rear ended another big rig causing it to overturn, Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash involving an overturned big rig on the eastbound I-10 Freeway at Ford Street around 2:46 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a big rig on its side blocking all eastbound lanes of the freeway and a second big rig with front end damage.

Initial reports indicate the sleepy driver of one of the big rigs rear ended the second truck causing it to overturn.

Luckily no injuries resulted from the crash.

Officers remained on scene to investigate the crash and clear the roadway.
