Redlands: Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Brush Fire

10.21.2019 | 8:08 AM | REDLANDS – An approximately 15 acre brush fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vegetation fire burning in the 26900 block of Beaumont Avenue around 8:08 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a fire moving at a quick fast rate of spread up a hill and began efforts to head off the fire.

Crews worked for approximately two hours using aircraft to assist them in containing the fire to approximately 15 acres.

No injuries or damage to any buildings was reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
