- A man on a dirt bike attempted to flee police after they attempted to stop him for reckless driving Monday night
- CHP SLA officers were possibly in the South LA area for possible street racing activity when they attempted to stop a man on a dirt bike wearing no helmet
- The suspect failed to yield, prompting a pursuit and helicopter tracking of him throughout the surface streets of Compton.
- At one point, the suspect was doing 5 MPH going east on Alondra. The video captures CHP officers attempting to box in the suspect but were unsuccessful.
- The suspect was reportedly on the phone with family and refused to stop because he was scared.
- The suspect eventually yielded before the Compton DMV and was taken into custody without incident.
- Multiple family members could be seen gathering at the location but were cooperative.
