RAMONA: Crash Sparks Ranch Fire

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-9-25 1:07 pm
LOCATION: 25000 block of SR-78
AREA/CITY: Ramona
DETAILS:

1. RAMONA: At around 1:07 PM, Cal Fire received reports of a single-vehicle rollover on the 25000 block of SR-78.
2. Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle fully involved which had spread into nearby vegetation.
   A full vegetation response was requested.
3. The driver was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
4. The vegetation fire grew to over 100 acres, prompting several evacuation orders that have since been lifted.
5. The fire is currently 15% contained, and fire crews will remain on scene.
