Raging 2 Alarm Fire Destroys Apartments | Colton

01.04.2021 | 1:01 AM | On Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, at 1:01 AM, Colton Fire and San Bernardino County Fire were dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at the Nova Pointe Apartments in Colton. The first arriving engine reported a fully involved apartment spreading to a second apartment. At this point, a second alarm was requested. A resident of the complex was detained at the scene by Colton PD. It’s unclear the reason for his detainment. Colton PD declined to comment. Numerous residents were displaced due to the fire.
