Pursuit Suspect Dies After Crashing into Pickup Head-On

DETAILS:
- CHP was in pursuit of a motorcycle going a high rate of speed on the 57 freeway going southbound from the 210 freeway
- The suspect, driving at a high rate of speed, exited off the freeway and was driving that high speed on surface streets when the suspect collided with a truck, hitting the head, which launched the suspect and landed on the ground.
- CHP arrived at the scene moments later.
- CHP wasn’t getting a response from the suspect and started CPR
- Fullerton Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced a suspect dead at scene.
- Unknown on the one on the motorcycle and one person was transported to a local nearby hospital and unknown condition
- Orangethorpe Avenue and Lemon Street will be closed for an unknown time. During an investigation, CHP handled the crash, and Fullerton PD assisted.
