Pursuit Suspect Crashes Into Home, Killing Elderly Homeowner | Crenshaw

06.26.2021 | 1:20 AM | LOS ANGELES – LAPD Southeast was in pursuit of a vehicle for an unknown reason. At some point in the pursuit, the suspect rammed the officer’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle crashed into the bedroom of a home, trapping a sleeping elderly married couple underneath the vehicle. It is unknown how the residents were freed from underneath, but officers immediately began treatment. LAPD officers started CPR on the female victim, however, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The husband was treated by LAFD paramedics and transported to a local area hospital in an unknown condition. The suspect was transported via ambulance for unknown injuries.
