Pursuit Suspect Crashes into a Tattoo Shop
INCIDENT DATE/TIME:1250am 9-30-25
LOCATION: 11 Spencer Highway
AREA/CITY: South Houston
DETAILS:
- Pasadena PD officers observed a reckless driver near Shaver and Spencer Hwy
- Vehicle fled from officers at a high rate of speed
- Driver failed to navigate a turn in the road and crashed into the side of a Tattoo Shop
- Suspects vehicle crashed through a brick wall and became stuck
- The crash ruptured the water lines to the building
- S Houston FD responded and during assessment, required a wrecker to pull the vehicle out so an extrication could begin
- It took firefighters about 30-40 minutes to cut the patient from the car
- Male was transported by PRI to the Med Center for treatment of his injuries
- Suspect appears to have sustained critical injuries, but patient information was not available at the time of SOT
- PPD will be conducting a full investigation to determine if the driver was impaired, and why the male fled from officers
