Pursuit Of DUI Driver Ends In Officer Involved Crash

LOCATION: 8900 Fenwick St
AREA/CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD Foothill officers were in a pursuit of an alleged drunk driver
2. The vehicle fled from officers for roughly 6 minutes
3. When the pursuit came to the intersection of Foothill & Fenwick, a crash occurred
4. An LAPD SUV & the suspect crashed into each other
5. The suspects vehicle flipped over as a result of the crash
6. The suspect was taken into custody after the crash
7. LAFD was requested to evaluate the officers & suspect
8. The suspect & 1 officer were transported to an area hospital with what appear to b e minor injuries
9. LAPD VTD is handling the investigation
