Pursuit Of Carjacking Suspect In Mercedes | Los Angeles

10.10.2021 | 10:53 PM | LOS ANGELES – At around 10:53, LAPD Hollywood units went in pursuit of an armed carjacking suspect driving a Mercedes SUV. Officers pursued the vehicle into South Central LA for approximately 45 minutes before giving up. The suspect drove at high rates of speed, wrong side of the road, blowing through red lights, and driving with no due regard for public safety. Officers were able to successfully deploy spike strips approximately 30 minutes into the pursuit, popping the front tires.
