Pursuit Ends With Barricaded Suspect | Houston

01.13.2022 | 11:00 PM | HOUSTON – HPD units were conducting “Hot Spot’ checks.

Officers observed a pickup truck committing numerous traffic violations and traveling at a high rate of speed.

Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on that truck but the truck refused to stop.

A pursuit ensued there after.

The suspect eventually wrecked out at this location.

Two male suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

The suspects barricaded themselves behind a garage in the rear of the house.

Officers believed they heard a gun shot.

They believe it came from one of the suspects.

K9 officers made entry into the back of the property.

They were able to detain one of the suspects without incident.

HFD was dispatched to the scene to check out the suspect for any injuries.
