Pursuit Ends After Suspect Crashes Into 2 Homes | Encino

DETAILS:

1. CHP initiated a pursuit of a suspect near the area of the 405 & 101 for a possible DUI driver
2. The suspect fled on the 101 and exited White Oak
3. The driver then went north on White Oak and crashed into 2 homes on Burbank Blvd
4. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident
5. The occupants of both homes were not injured as a result of the crash
6. Both homes were occupied at the time of the crash
7. The suspect was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries
8. A male witnessed the crash and stopped to speak with CHP, officers suspected the male was DUI and evaluated him at the scene
9. The male was determined to not be DUI and was released
10. The suspect is described as a 60 year old male
11. He is facing charges like Felony Evading, DUI, Driving with a suspended license as well as Hit & Run
