Pursuit Crash Of Possible Armed Burglary Suspects

DETAILS:
- LAPD officers got reports of a white camaro driving around a neighborhood where there have been many burglaries involving camaros in the West Hills and surrounding areas.
- The suspects were driving with their lights off.
- Officers lost the car last seen driving East on Victory Blvd. Officers found it again driving Northbound on the 405 freeway.
- The suspects exited the freeway and officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspect took off.
- The chase ended when the suspect crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Haskell and Chatsworth in Granada Hills.
- A male driver and female passenger were taken into custody and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries caused by the crash.
- LAPD officers recovered a handgun from the male driver which he had on his person.
