Pursuit Crash *Caught on Camera*

Phoenix Police attempted to stop an erratic driver in a white Jeep SRT near 59th Avenue and Encanto Blvd shortly after 2:00 AM.

The driver refused to stop and felony flight was established.

Due to the driver’s reckless driving behavior, officers chose not to pursue the suspect. They attempted to observe his direction of travel from a distance as a Phoenix Police air unit responded to the area.

Moments later, officers observed the suspect lose control on Encanto Blvd near 56th Street.

The suspect’s Jeep left the roadway, striking several parked vehicles before crashing into an occupied house.

Officers converged on the vehicle and took the driver into custody.

Phoenix Fire responded to the scene and transported the driver to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation.

Officers recovered two firearms from the vehicle.

Fortunately, no residents were injured in the collision.

All occupants from the affected home have been displaced due to the extensive damage.

The suspect vehicle and two additional vehicles have been towed from the scene.

The home has been deemed structurally unstable.
