Protests Grow Violent, Demonstrators Shoot Fireworks At LAPD | Los Angeles

06.24.2022 | 8:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – Several thousand protestors were marching downtown in opposition to the Supreme Court decision on the Roe vs. Wade case. The protests started mostly peaceful as protestors could be seen marching through the streets, holding signs, and voicing their opinions. The large group overtook the 101 freeway through DTLA. LAPD moved in to take arrests after the freeway was taken over, however, it appears none were made. Demonstrators made their way into downtown LA where they took over the streets.
