Protestors Swarm Downtown Los Angeles

09.23.20 | LOS ANGELES – Protesters took to the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. A estimated group of 1000 protesters marched through the streets chanting and honking horns. Some were observed holding signs wishing the death of cops. The new round of protesting the grand jury’s decision not to charge the Louisville Police Department officers directly for the officer involved shooting, fatally injuring Breonna Taylor. One person was arrested for shining a laser at a LAPD helicopter. LAPD radio traffic reported the pilot suffered an injury to his eye and had to land. LAPD has not confirmed the injury. Protesters spray painted the sign in front of LAPD Headquarters as others chanted at officers. No other arrest were seen made.
