DETAILS:
- Just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night, DPS troopers and Phoenix Fire responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Sky Harbor Boulevard near the southbound SR-143 exit ramp.
- Crews arrived and located a fully involved Toyota Prius on the shoulder of the road.
- All occupants were able to exit the vehicle safely before the car became engulfed.
- Several apparatus from Phoenix Fire and Sky Harbor airport operations blocked the right lanes as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
