Prius Driver Killed in Crash

LOCATION: 16300 block of East Freeway
AREA/CITY: Channelview
DETAILS:
- HCSO and Channelview FD responded to reports of a MVA
- Arriving units located a grey Prius with heavy front end damage
- Male driver of the prius was pronounced deceased at scene
- Prius drove into the back of a maintenance Crash truck
- driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital in stable condition
- Crash truck were in the right lanes establishing a lane closure for the road crew when the prius crashed into one of the crash trucks
- Roadway should be open shortly
