DETAILS:

1. Firefighters responded to a medical emergency call for a pregnant woman in cardiac arrest.
2. Upon arrival, firefighters began administering aid, but requested law enforcement officials to the scene for scene control due to someone interfering.
3. Upon arrival, officers began conducting a death investigation.
4. Detectives were requested along with police from the district attorney’s office.
5. In the course of the investigation, the incident was declared a homicide.
