PPD Officer Involved In Crash With Suspected DUI Driver | Phoenix

05.03.2022 | 1:00 AM | PHOENIX – Phoenix Police and Fire crews responded to reports of an officer involved collision near 11th Street and Indian School Road around 1:00 AM Tuesday morning. An officer in a marked Phoenix Police Tahoe, traveling on Indian School Road was struck by a male driver in a silver Fiat crossover SUV. Both the driver and the involved officer were evaluated by Phoenix Fire personnel on scene and refused treatment. The driver of the silver Fiat was taken into custody by Phoenix PD for suspicion of DUI. Luckily no serious injuries have been reported. Indian School Road was closed westbound from 11th Street to 10th Street as officers documented the scene and worked to clear the roadway.
