Possible Road Rage Incident Leads To Fatal Shooting
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-19-25 | 1:30 a.m.
LOCATION: 8600 Westheimer Road and 9000 Westheimer
AREA/CITY: Houston

***UPDATE – Per Lt. Ali via phone, Homicide believes the “suspect” mentioned in the SOT may actually be another victim and not a suspect******
- Officers were originally called for a shooting.
- Officers found one male victim, age unknown, who had been fatally shot in the 8600 block of Westheimer (First scene in video)
- Initial investigations suggest a road rage incident between the victim and the suspect led to the shooting.
- Another victim attempted to flee the scene at high rate of speed, driving recklessly, and crashed a block away at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Jeanetta Street. (9000 Westheimer, second scene in video)
- The crash involved two other vehicles, resulting in minor injuries to two citizens.
- All individuals injured in the crash, were transported to a nearby hospital.
- The second victim was found to have at least one gunshot wound, but his condition is currently unknown.
