Possible Racing, Vehicle vs Bicyclist In Anaheim CA

 

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 3-2-25, 11:40 p.m.
LOCATION: Orange Ave./Beach Blvd.
AREA/CITY:Anaheim
DETAILS:

1. Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a traffic collision between a bicyclists and a vehicle
2. When the units arrived on scene they found a bicyclist down and a vehicle with front end damage.
3. It appears that the bicyclist was walking with their bike in a crosswalk with a second bicyclist when two vehicles ran the red light and hit one of the people on the bike.
4. That person was transported to a local area hospital in a unknown condition.
5. The two vehicles were possibly racing at the time of the collision.
6. One of the vehicles fled the scene and the second vehicle remained at the scene.
7. It is unknown if drugs are alcohol played a factor in the incident.
