Possible Child Killed By Hit and Run Driver
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11:11pm 06-23-24
LOCATION: Los Angeles Avenue and Hitch Blvd
AREA/CITY: Moorpark
DETAILS:
- A hit and run crash was reported on the bend just east of Hitch Blvd on Los Angeles Avenue
- The vehicle struck a unknown sex/ race/ age person, possibly a child, riding a kids razor scooter
- The scooter was left beside the roadway with the body of the victim thrown approximately 40 feet
- Paramedics arrived and located the person in full arrest, the person was quickly pronounced deceased at the scene
- CHP Moorpark Division is investigating the incident
