Port Hueneme: Officer Rear-Ended By Another Officer
08.23.2020 | 1:30 AM | PORT HUENEME – Minor injuries were reported after a police officer rear-ended another officer, early Sunday morning.
The crash occurred around 1:30 AM on Channel Island Boulevard near Patterson Road when an officer spotted a pedestrian and shined his spotlight in their direction.
An officers in a vehicle behind the first officer saw the pedestrian but did not notice that the first officer had stopped his vehicle.
A rear-end traffic collision occurred and officers sustained only minor injuries.
The pedestrian fled the scene as the incident occured.
