Pomona: Woman Killed Crossing Street By Hit & Run Driver

03.29.2019 | 8:35 PM | POMONA – A woman was killed by a hit and run driver as she crossed a street, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Holt Avenue and Caswell around 8:35 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a female down in the roadway and pronounced her deceased from obvious trauma.

Initial reports indicate the woman was crossing Holt Avenue when the driver of a vehicle, described only as a dark colored Dodge Charge or Dodge Challenger, struck the woman.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid and is wanted by police for felony hit and run.
