Pomona: Pedestrian Killed By Hit & Run Driver

12.21.2019 | 7:35 PM | POMONA – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle that fled before being struck again by a second vehicle that remained on scene, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Holt Avenue and Indian Hill Boulevard around 7:35 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male down in the roadway suffering from traumatic injuries.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene.

Initial reports indicate the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

A second vehicle, driven by a female, then struck the pedestrian who was already down in lanes.

The second driver stopped and remained on scene to cooperate with law enforcement.

No information regarding the hit and run vehicle was immediately available.
