Pomona: Man Shot To Death In Garage After Reported Neighbor Dispute

08.16.2019 | 7:30 PM | POMONA – A man was shot to death after what some reported was a dispute between neighbors gone wrong, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in the 1100 block of Pasadena Street around 7:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an approximately 30-year-old hispanic male suffering from at least one gunshot wound near a garage.

Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measures on scene before transporting the victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Witnesses reported that the shooting began as a dispute between neighbors that turned violent.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene and tossed the firearm used in the murder into a nearby trash can.

An investigation is ongoing.
