Pomona: Man Killed At Park & Ride After Leaving Party
07.20.2019 | 10:15 PM | POMONA – A 24-year-old man was dead after being gunned down at a Park & Ride after leaving a party, Monday night.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a man down in the 1700 block of GIllette Road at the Fairplex Park & Ride around 10:15 PM.
Units arriving on scene found a man down in the parking lot and began performing life-saving measures.
Despite their best efforts, firefighter paramedics pronounced the man deceased on scene.
Initial reports indicate the victim and a group of guests had left a pool party at a mansion hosted by Shane Mosley, Jr., a boxer and son of Sugar Shane Mosley, located in the 1100 block of Loma Vista Street.
After leaving the guests gathered at the Fairplex Park & Ride when an individual in a red sedan pulled up to the group and opened fire.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including any motive, was not immediately available.
