Pomona: Man Gunned Down Near 24-Hour Car Wash

08.29.2019 | 11:50 PM | POMONA – A man was hospitalized after being shot near a local car wash, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the New Image Car Wash located in the 2100 block of North Towne Avenue around 11:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a male victim down suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

Police are searching for the reported gunman but circumstances surrounding the shooting were unclear.
