Pomona: Illicit Marijuana Dispensary Robbed By Armed Men

07.14.2019 | 7:00 PM | POMONA – Two men armed with guns held up an illicit marijuana dispensary in what was described as a takeover robbery, Sunday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a robbery at an illicit marijuana dispensary in the 300 block of North Park Avenue around 7:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene discovered that two armed men had entered the marijuana dispensary armed with handguns and held up the establishment before fleeing.

Several pounds of marijuana and a large amount of cash was reportedly taken in the heist.

No injuries were reported and no suspect descriptions were immediately available.

Police have previously raided the dispensary in question and all marijuana dispensaries are illegal within the city limits.

An investigation is ongoing.
