Pomona: Hit And Run Driver Leaves Pedestrian Critically Injured

03.24.2019 | 9:55 PM | POMONA – A pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a driver who fled the scene, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to the reported traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 900 block of East Holt Avenue shortly before 10:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene found a pedestrian down in the roadway and no vehicle in sight.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting them to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver that struck the pedestrian fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

No suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
