Pomona: Driver Flees Fiery Crash

06.08.2019 | 2:39 AM | POMONA – A driver was being detained after he fled from a fiery crash, Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with fire on Garey Avenue near the SR-60 Freeway around 2:39 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a grey Dodge Dart engulfed in fire off the side of the roadway.

Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and determined the vehicle was unoccupied.

Officers patrolling the area located the driver and detained him pending further investigation.
