Pomona: Driver Flees Engulfed Car After Crashing

12.16.2018 | 3:00 AM | POMONA – Police were searching for a person who fled their flaming vehicle after crashing, Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with fire on the westbound SR-60 freeway near the Reservoir Street off ramp around 3:00 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a single vehicle engulfed in flames and immediately doused the fire.

The driver of the vehicle could not be located despite a search of the nearby area.

Police believe the driver fled the scene on foot shortly after the crash.
