Police Pursuit Termination Crash

DETAILS:

 

1. An NCPD officer spotted a car speeding on Main St and attempted to pull the driver over.
2. The driver fled and took the turn from southbound Main St onto Yama St and lost a tire.
3. The driver lost control as he tried to turn left onto the southbound I-5 on-ramp and crashed through the Naval Bases Perimeter fencing, and went into a drainage ditch.
4. A juvenile male and a juvenile female were pulled from the wreckage.
5. Neither was injured.
6. The female was released to a parent, and the male was released to his father but will face charges.
7. The street & on-ramp were closed for over 1 hour.
