Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting Incident

According to the Press Enterprise.
1. The RPD officer was injured by shrapnel during an attempted arrest.
2. The police officer suffered a minor injury when a gun discharged during the incident.
3. “Officers were attempting to arrest the suspect, a gun discharged, and shrapnel struck the officer, Officer Ryan Railsback, a department spokesman, said Thursday. The officer was hospitalized and was recovering on Thursday”.
4. Riverside police did not say whose gun was discharged, the officers or the suspects.
