Point Mugu: BMW Crashes Down Embankment, Becomes Wedged Between Power Pole

03.01.2020 | 10:55 PM | POINT MUGU – A BMW sedan became lodged between a power pole after losing control, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision on Pacific Coast Highway near Deer Creek Road around 10:55 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a silver BMW sedan that had lost control and crashed down an embankment before becoming lodged against a power pole.

Firefighter paramedics freed the solo male driver and transported them to an area hospital in unknown condition.

There were reports of small fires and sparks nearby possibly as a result of the impact to the power pole but the relationship between the incidents was not immediately confirmed.

The cause of the crash, including the role of drugs or alcohol, remains under investigation.
