Pico-Union: Greater Alarm Fire Destroys Home
07.14.2020 | 2:08 AM | LOS ANGELES – A home burned after a greater alarm fire broke out, early Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a structure fire at a home in the 1200 block of South Arapahoe Street in the Pico-Union area around 2:08 AM.
Crews arriving on scene located a two-story home with heavy fire showing through the roof and began efforts to extinguish the blaze.
About 94 firefighters worked to extinguish the greater alarm fire in just 38 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
