Pico Rivera: Two Injured After Shooting Outside Market

01.12.2020 | 7:15 PM | PICO RIVERA – Two people were injured after a shooting occurred in front of a market, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with two victims injured in front of a market located in the 8300 block of Whittier Boulevard around 7:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The second victim was transported by a private vehicle to Beverly Hospital for treatment in unknown condition.

Deputies are searching for a solo male suspect who was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
